My Power Flow, also known as my vinyasa flow yoga, is the most in demand form of yoga exercise, because it’s ideal flowing of one ancient yoga asana (pose) into the next through the connecting thread of deep and proper breath per movement. This results in the strong, long and lean, yet flexible body most people seek to attain from a workout. The focus required, and correct breathing create a moving meditation that helps calm the mind and dissolve stress. For these reasons, most of my om YOGA home’s classes are Power Flow. It’s hard to describe our Power Flow classes because each one is different from teacher to teacher, class to class; no memorized same-old sequence every class here!!! Our team of expert teachers create safe but challenging classes based on their knowledge of anatomy and movement. This creates ‘muscle confusion’, which increases strength and muscle tone by working different muscles, as it also improves mental clarity and focus because it necessitates paying attention in each class since you never know what is coming next!!!
Whether you are new to yoga, or are a dedicated yogi, we urge you to take My Yoga Foundations workshop to get the detailed and personal instructions on correct breathing that should be used throughout your vinyasa flow, as well as specific principles to be used throughout your flow that will help you get the most out of each movement and prevent injury. Proper breathing is the core of your yoga practice and truly will strengthen your core at it’s deepest levels. For those new to yoga, taking this workshop will enable you to enter All Levels classes with ease and confidence. We strongly recommend this workshop even if you are an experienced yogi because we have found that much has been lost in mass market yoga teacher trainings offered by corporate yoga chains, so most teachers are teaching breathing and body placement incorrectly
